Things to do in North London

There are a number of museums in the north of the city including; The British Museum, Museum of the Order of St. John and the London Canal Museum. North London is also home to the British Library.

Once you have visited some of the Museums in North London, then perhaps visiting one of the Premiership football stadiums, both Arsenal F.C and Tottenham Hotspur F.C are in North London. Whether it will be a stadium tour which costs around £10 – £15 or watching one of the games, which will cost you around £40+. It would be a great experience, especially for those who haven’t been to a match before.

Regents Park is a great place to hang out with friends; it takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life. Surrounding by shops, it’s the perfect place to unwind in the summer with some snacks and drinks. There are many cinemas in the area too such as: Vue Cinemas, Everyman Screen on the Green and an Odeon Cinema in Holloway too, Tuesday are the cheaper days with discounted ticket prices.

Clubs and Bars in North London

There are hundreds of places in North London for a night out, whether it’s a few beers down the local, some cocktails at a fancy bar or some double vodka red bulls at a night club, North London has you covered. We have mentioned a few of our favourites:

First up we have the 02 Academy Islington, which offers the very best in live music, some of the biggest and best performers from around the globe come here to perform, and the venue is incredibly popular too!

Secondly, we have the Barrio Angel, which is a slightly Latina inspired bar in the North of the city and has everything that you need if you’re looking for a great night out and a nice drink with friends in a chilled atmosphere.

Next up we have The Ladybird Bar, which offers the luxury of both live music and DJ sets too, either way, you can be sure of one thing, a packed dancefloor. The club has an awesome variety of drinks, an electric atmosphere and friendly staff; you’ll be coming back time and time again!

Places to eat in West London

Every street in London will have a couple of the popular chained restaurants; like Nandos, Wagamamas, EAT and many many more! This is why we are going to mention some of the unique places to eat in North London, that all cost under £10:
Chicken Town, as you can imagine, sells a variety of chicken based meals; chicken burgers, wraps, salads and more! C.T’s building is an old fire station which makes the place even more awesome! To top things off, a main meal with sides will cost you under £10, and all profits subsidise meals for local school kids.

Located in Lower Holloway, Zia Lucia is a very trendy pizza parlour that still has hints of traditional Italian charm. We have had to mention these guys, their unusual topping combination seems bizarre, but they work so well! Pizzas are under £10, so sharing a pizza with a friend is just £5, but do you really want to share a pizza?

Embassy East in Hoxton, a Kiwi run cafe, is not your usual cafe with the greasy full English breakfasts. They serve a variety of nutritious breakfast and brunch meals. They are well known for their toasties, whether you pick one from their menu, the toastie of the day or create your own; all toasties are just £6.50.
