You won’t pay anything of your student loan back until you’re in a financial position to do so. Repaying student loans works very differently from any other kinds of direct debits that you’re likely to take on in your life.
You will not be paying your university fees back until you’re earning around £21,000 or more. When you are earning £21,000 or more, you will pay back at around a rate of 9%.
