Find out more about ARU, including our recent Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework, at aru.ac.uk.**<br/><br/>This course will give educators, communicators and advocates the skills to communicate conservation issues and science to audiences of all kinds. <br/><br/>Current issues in conservation both local and international will be examined, and evidence-based methods for raising awareness and human behaviour change discussed. The latest research from the fields of conservation, education and psychology is examined to provide an effective and cross-disciplinary approach to raising engagement with conservation issues and solutions. <br/><br/>The programme is designed to meet the diverse needs of the animal industry and thus combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. This programme aims to provide: <br/><br/><br/>- A systematic and evidence-based approach to conservation education <br/><br/><br/>- Knowledge of a range of conservation issues, both local and international <br/><br/><br/>- Practical skills for communication with stakeholders <br/><br/><br/>- Frameworks and skills for behaviour change for conservation<br/>
