There can’t be many campuses that rival Newton Park. The parkland estate has everything you’d expect from a modern university, as well as a castle and a lake. All this and it's only four miles from the buzz of central Bath.At the busy heart of the campus is our ultra-modern academic building, Commons. Facilities include open-access, technology-enabled study space; social learning space; bookable group working rooms; a café; and outdoor amphitheatre. The campus also has the best specialist digital and studio resources for teaching in the South West – equal to anything found in top commercial organisations and broadcast companies.

The careers team offer information about different career paths and jobs, help finding and securing placements, internships or other work experience opportunities, start-up and enterprise support, and more. Students can book one-to-one appointments with specialist career mentors or drop into the careers space at the Newton Park Campus.

Students can get hands-on industry experience and demonstrate their ability to secure and sustain graduate-level employment by completing a professional placement year. Lecturers and tutors also partner up with career professionals and industry experts to ensure that students are equipped with key employability skills.

Bath Spa graduates have gone on to work in interesting and diverse careers, including roles at the BBC, NHS, National Trust, and Bath Mind and setting up a huge variety of different businesses of their own.
