Birkbeck offers a great choice of evening courses to suit every level. Our wide-ranging curriculum includes subjects across programmes in a wide range of subjects across Arts, Business, Law, Science, Social Science, History and Philosophy as well as in interdisciplinary combinations. If you require additional support for your studies, we offer a range of learning support courses to help improve your English language, academic writing and study skills.

Applications for all courses are direct to the college, apart from applications for the three-year full-time undergraduate degrees, which are through UCAS. We offer a wide range of Master’s degrees, both part-time and full-time (two years part-time; one year full-time). All our Schools offer supervision for MPhil/PhD study, which students can undertake on a part-time or full-time basis.

Our evening teaching is designed with you in mind and we provide all of the facilities and support that you would expect, including a library that’s open late, excellent computing facilities, a student centre and a dedicated careers service.
