Award of Diploma with 27 points overall, with 3 Higher Level subjects at grades 6, 5, 4, including Biology at grade 5 and English at grade 4. Standard Level Maths at grade 4 also required.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

DMM

Minimum grades DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit) in Health and Social Care AND A Level Biology/Applied Science/Life and Health Sciences at grade C or above.* GCSE grade C/4 in Maths also required. Minimum grades DMM (Distinction Merit Merit) in Applied Sciences AND A Level English or another Literary subject* at grade C or above. GCSE Maths at grade C/4 also required.

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

Grades H2, H3, H3, H3 at Higher Level including English and Biology. O3 in two Ordinary Level subjects, including Maths.

Scottish HNC

Pass

Care and Administrative Practice or Healthcare Practice with grade B in the graded unit. Higher Biology or Human Biology at grade C or above also required.
