Both academic studies and the vocational nature of the course in preparing students for a particular profession are enhanced by the close links of Harper Adams and the land management course team with industry.<br/><br/>The 4 module PgC programme and the 8 module PgD programme choose from the same module suite as the Masters courses in Rural Estate and Land Management. The shorter, non-RICS accredited options are typically taken by:<br/><br/><br/>- Chartered surveyors who qualified in a non-rural discipline and want to gain rural expertise<br/><br/><br/>- Rural surveyors returning after an extended career break or time working outside the rural sector<br/><br/><br/>- AssocRICS qualified professionals who are seeking to become chartered surveyors and need further educational credits<br/><br/><br/>- On a case by case basis, students who do not have the entry requirements for the Masters courses may be offered a place on the Postgraduate Certificate course with a view to transferring to Masters on successful completion.<br/>
