No wonder graduates have gone on to pursue careers at internationally recognised companies including Mitsubishi Motors, Unilever, Harrods and Weatherbys.

You will visit entrepreneurs on a free study tour to Europe with previous destinations
including Spain and Germany. You will also network and gain business contacts before you graduate at careers fairs, as well as having access to our Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Programme. Upon completion of the degree you will receive the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Annual membership to CMI is free for one year after graduation.

**Course structure**
Employability Standards are built into every module. These are designed by the School of Business and Entrepreneurship in consultation with employers – so you will always be able to see the employability relevance of what you are studying.

You will learn through lectures, tutorials, visiting lecturers, student and tutor-led seminars, directed reading, problem-based and experiential learning and case studies. Modules are assessed through exams, essays, reports, presentations, and group work. The Research Project is an integral part of the course. Completed in your third year, it provides the opportunity to study in-depth a subject of specific interest or of direct relevance to your
future employment.

**Work placement**
This 12 month placement is designed to enable students to complete a relevant enhanced work placement experience to help them identify future career choices and enhance relevant skills sets sought by employers. The placement allows students to develop a deeper understanding and gain further experience in a relevant business or employment area to enhance their work experience. Students are expected to experience and engage in various aspects of their chosen industry from operational to practical working.

Not only could you find yourself working for prestigious companies in the UK or across
the world, you will develop confidence and industry contacts for when you graduate.
