Central Bedfordshire College was established in 1961 in Dunstable.
On 14 January 2010, the college was renamed Central Bedfordshire College – reflecting the College’s commitment to Central Bedfordshire as a whole and the ambition to be recognised as the premier post sixteen institution in the area.
Recognised by Ofsted as a “good college with exemplary features” Central Bedfordshire College has recently invested in the Kingsway Project which has created new facilities public and student facilities at its Dunstable campus.
Across the region Central Bedfordshire College is seen as the “friendly college” where a more mature environment is appreciated.
The college makes excellent provision for students with learning difficulties and this reflects the culture of the college which is to find solutions
Central Bedfordshire College enjoys strong partnerships with The University of Bedfordshire and The University of Northampton.
