Harper Adams University’s attractive rural location in the heart of England provides the best of town and country. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, the Shropshire campus offers state-of-the-art facilities and rewarding courses for undergraduate, postgraduate and lifelong learners in agriculture, agribusiness, animal, engineering, food, rural and land-based studies.
Harper Adams is a single campus university. There are approximately 2,000 students on campus each year. All courses include compulsory sandwich work placement years, with students working at home and abroad before returning to Harper Adams to complete their studies. The placement year, plus strong ties to industry, leads to high levels of graduate employment.
Facilities include an adjacent commercial farm, Agricultural Engineering Innovation Centre, veterinary services centre, food academy, crops research centre, companion animal house, dedicated student services building, engineering design centre, eco-library, indoor field, teaching labs and the high-tech, newly-opened Weston teaching building.
