Investing in the University campus

Huddersfield are continually investing in their campus and offer an inspirational and modern space in which to learn. Their latest development, The Barbara Hepworth Building, is due to be completed in the Autumn of 2019 and will be the £30m new home for the study of art, design and architecture at the University.

Facilities for Students are fantastic with Student Central, a £22.5m hub, that combines access to the library, computing, sport, leisure and eating space all under one roof,

Located in the heart of campus, but completely separate from the University, the Students’ Union is led by students for students, ensuring that students have an independent voice concerned only with their interests. The Students’ Union runs over 100 sports clubs and societies, as well as managing huge events such as Freshers’ Week and Varsity, ensuring that there is plenty of fun, entertainment and leisure to enjoy on and off campus. The SU also runs an on-campus shop, the HudLets letting agency and an advice centre as well as offering volunteering opportunities

Huddersfield is an attractive, friendly, cosmopolitan town with a fascinating history. The lively town centre is right next to the main campus, and offers great shopping, nightlife, restaurants, cafes, theatre, cinemas and sports facilities. Huddersfield is also set in beautiful countryside including the nearby Peak District National Park.

Huddersfield has a wide range of accommodation for students.
