This course is ideal if you are considering moving into a team or project leader role.<br/><br/>**How you learn**<br/><br/>All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.<br/><br/>You will study a combination of management-related and technical modules. We offer a wide range of elective modules, which you can tailor to your own continuing professional development.<br/><br/>The course is therefore very flexible — it allows you to delve deeper into your own interests and career aspirations, and gain the skills that employers are looking for.<br/><br/>You learn through:<br/><br/><br/>- laboratory sessions<br/><br/><br/>- critical reflection<br/><br/><br/>- lectures<br/><br/><br/>- seminars<br/><br/><br/>- tutorials<br/><br/><br/>- coursework<br/><br/><br/>- assessments<br/><br/><br/>- multidisciplinary teamwork<br/><br/><br/>There are opportunities to study abroad at one of our partner universities with the possibility of funding through the Erasmus+ programme (until 2023) or the Turing Scheme.<br/><br/>This course is delivered face-to-face over three semesters - teaching is scheduled based on the length of your course and the academic calendar.<br/><br/>Applied learning: <br/><br/><br/>- Live projects<br/><br/><br/>We encourage you to learn through the application of theories, concepts and knowledge to real-life situations (such as your own organisation or in the international product development module), or by using case studies.<br/><br/>Our part time students can find that their masters projects are typically of significant importance to their companies and can raise their profile in the organisation.<br/><br/><br/>- Competitions<br/><br/><br/>We run a range of competitions throughout the year.<br/><br/>You can design, build and fly a remote-controlled aircraft as part of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Challenge.<br/><br/>There is also an opportunity to build and race a car as part of the Formula Student competition. This year our SHURacing team came 23rd in the final of the competition at Silverstone.
