You’ll explore the root causes behind these issues, and understand the roles nutritionists can play in supporting individuals to reach their weight loss goals.<br/><br/>This course is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).<br/><br/>**How you learn:**<br/>All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.<br/><br/>This course aims to develop your theoretical and practical skills ready for industry. It is based around four major strands — covering core and specialist knowledge, as well as employability and research skills.<br/><br/>We use a student-centred approach. These might include work shadowing and volunteering, working on live weight or obesity management projects, or attending relevant conferences, events and workshops.<br/><br/>You then complete a work-related learning module to reflect on personal and professional development. You will be required to identify these areas in an action plan and identify objectives and activities to undertake.
