Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies MA

For graduates or those already working in the heritage sectors, this degree is informed by innovative and current research in key areas affecting the industry: <br/><br/><br/>- Policy concerns relating to heritage <br/><br/><br/>- Museum and cultural sectors in the UK, Ireland and internationally <br/><br/><br/>- Analysis of the social, economic, and cultural contexts of museums and heritage <br/><br/><br/>- Management issues relating to museums and heritage sites <br/><br/><br/>- Impact of digital technologies on the heritage experience<br/><br/><br/>You will develop the appropriate skills for further academic study and professional development and practice. We assist students in establishing voluntary work placements including recent successful placements in the National Trust, local museums, arts centres and archives. <br/><br/>Our students come from across Ireland, GB, US, Canada, and France, bringing a range of insights that add to the diversity of the experience. We have a thriving graduate network working in learning and outreach in museums, exhibition design, archives, heritage development, the cultural sector and PhD research.
