With a student community of 26,000, Ulster is one university with four campuses across Northern Ireland: Belfast, Coleraine, Derry~Londonderry (Magee) and Jordanstown.
The University was awarded the 2016 Times Higher Education ‘Most Improved Student Experience’ Award, as voted for by students in a survey of more than 15,000 undergraduates.

Each year, approximately £40 million is spent on research to address real-world issues of both local and global relevance.
In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment, Ulster was named as one of the top universities in the UK for world-leading research.
