Your placements will cover a multi-ethnic city with pockets of affluence but also high levels of deprivation. You will also gain experience in a post-industrial town, a market town and the Yorkshire Dales, all with widely different communities experiencing different mental health problems.<br/><br/>You will receive highly rated support whilst you gain experience in challenging but rewarding clinical placements.<br/><br/>**Professional accreditation**<br/>This course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as the statutory body and regulator of nursing and midwifery healthcare professions.<br/><br/>**We now accept NVQ Level 3 in a healthcare related discipline - you must be currently working as a healthcare assistant with 2 years’ work experience.**
