Our students have several additional opportunities, such as achieving a Level 3 qualification in Paediatric First Aid, a requirement for staff in all Early Years settings, and the Graduate Practitioner Competencies, which will give your CV an edge, whatever career path you choose.<br/><br/>The Early Childhood and Primary Education degree will build on current practice and research within the sector catering for the 0-11 age range, providing students with current in-depth knowledge and understanding. Embedded at the heart of the course is the emphasis on employability skills, ensuring students are equipped to enter a diverse range of careers, both directly from the course as graduate professionals and with further study at postgraduate level.<br/><br/>This highly practical course has placement opportunities in each year of study, giving you a range of hands-on experience.<br/><br/>Foundation Year courses have been designed for students who do not have the necessary academic qualifications needed to enter directly into the first year of a degree but who have the ability and commitment to do so. Once the Foundation Year has been completed successfully, you can then go on to complete your degree.
