Our accredited and exciting Forensic Psychology degree focuses on the causes, investigation and prosecution of crime, as well as the treatment and management of offenders.<br/><br/>This course will allow you to focus on the use of psychology in areas including: understanding crime and criminality, criminal investigation and profiling, and the criminal justice system.<br/><br/>This course is also accredited by The British Psychological Society as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), and has been designed to follow the British Psychological Society core curriculum.<br/><br/>In studying Forensic Psychology at Chester, we will provide you with opportunities to undertake specialist project work in forensic related areas, and develop your knowledge of the most recent theory and practice in the area through expert teaching from active researchers.<br/><br/>Foundation Year courses have been designed for students who do not have the necessary academic qualifications needed to enter directly into the first year of a degree but who have the ability and commitment to do so. Once the Foundation Year has been completed successfully, you can then go on to complete your degree.
