This degree is mainly focused on applied and computational mathematics and is carefully designed to maximise students’ enjoyment of their mathematical studies.<br/><br/>This course will meet the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation, awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, when it is followed by subsequent training and experience in employment to obtain equivalent competences to those specified by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for taught Master’s degrees.<br/><br/>Our Mathematics team are research active and internationally recognised with an extensive network of collaborations with leading researchers in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
