This course will equip you with knowledge and understanding in a wide range of contemporary policing topics, and heighten your skills of analysis and reflection in a variety of law enforcement situations, influencing the way you conduct investigations.<br/><br/>You will develop your ability to utilise research skills, evaluate existing bodies of knowledge, critically evaluate new information and ideas, and accept accountability for your actions and conclusions, all key requirements for a career in law enforcement.<br/><br/>The course is delivered by subject matter experts and experienced practitioners (including retired police officers) with a wealth of professional and subject expertise in specialist areas to enhance your learning experience.<br/><br/>Teaching methods include lectures, field trips, subject specialist speakers, in-class tests, self-directed study, online resources, and the use of immersive learning in our Hydra facility.
