32 Points from Mathematics and 32 points from a physical science or a numerate subject. A Level and BTEC National: Diploma/Extended Certificate in Engineering and 32 Points from A Level Mathematics if Units 7 and/or 8 are not included. Higher Level Mathematics at grade 5 and Higher Level Physics at grade 5.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Extended Diploma in Engineering, requiring: Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems (Unit 7) and Further Engineering Mathematics (Unit 8), both at Merit or a related subject/unit.
