Equip yourself to provide quality health care to remote and rural communities while innovating and improving healthcare provision. <br/><br/>Learn from experts at UHI’s Department of Nursing and Midwifery, focusing on clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research, to provide a fit for purpose approach to rural care in the modern world. On this fully online programme, develop strong supportive relationships with academic staff and supervisors using digital technology and an evidence-based approach. <br/><br/>Be assessed through practice-linked reflection and completion of a course-specific work-based portfolio, developed in collaboration with NHS Education for Scotland. You will be enrolled and supported by staff at our Departments of Nursing and Midwifery in Inverness and Stornoway<br/><br/>**How long will my course last?**<br/>◾ Part-time (structured): 3 years @ 15 hours per week<br/>Number of hours per week indicates the total number of hours you should dedicate to the course, which includes time spent in lectures and your own time spent on individual study and research.
