Scottish Higher

136 UCAS Tariff points to include 40 points from an Advanced Higher in Biology or Chemistry, plus 40 points from an Advanced Higher in a second science subject. Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Applied Science, Maths or Further Maths are accepted. General Studies, Critical Thinking and Extended Project qualifications are not accepted. A combination of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted.

Access to HE Diploma

45 Level 3 credits with a minimum of 136 UCAS Tariff points, including 40 points from 15 credits in Biology or Chemistry and 15 credits in a second Science subject

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

32 points overall to include Higher Level grade 5 in Biology or Chemistry and Higher Level grade 5 in a second Science subject. Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, Physics, are accepted.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

GCSE/National 4/National 5

Applicants will also need at least Five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, which must include English, Maths and Science. Equivalent Level 2 qualifications may also be considered.
