Study Environmental Geoscience in Liverpool University to learn how the Earth works, and to develop the key skills to help maintain a sustainable environment for everybody.<br/><br/>The Environmental Geoscience programme provides students with the key knowledge and skills necessary to understand how the most important aspects of planet Earth work. You will study modules in geology, geophysics, physical geography, climate science and modelling. You will graduate with a broad knowledge of environmental science and arange of skills spanning problem solving using the scientific method, numeracy and coding, field work including data acquisition with all the latest geophysical and digital equipment, and report writing and communication skills, all designed to equip you for a career helping maintain a sustainable environment on our precious planet.<br/><br/>This programme is available with either a Year in China or a Year Abroad. The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLUs BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. The Year Abroad offers students the opportunity to spend a full academic year studying at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and/or discipline-related modules. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China or a Year Abroad you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.
