This degree will ensure that you understand business and how they operate within the global environment. You will acquire the skills to become an effective manager and put these into practice through industry aligned projects.<br/><br/>Change is a driving force in businesses. You will learn how to become an organisation’s best asset by successfully coordinating people, projects and resources. The project management modules provide you with the skills, knowledge, and ability to apply leading project management practices, take leadership roles, have the opportunity to influence positive change for businesses and society. You will learn how to navigate change processes and align teams to your vision, overcoming any resistance that you may face.<br/><br/>During your first year you will study core modules that will help build the foundation of your knowledge. You will start to build your leadership capabilities and develop an understanding of the global business environment, organisational culture, business growth, marketing and enterprise.<br/><br/>During your second and final year you will develop your strategic management skills. There will be opportunities to work with businesses on strategic initiatives, develop your knowledge of people and operations management, as well as fully understand financial decision making.<br/><br/>Relationships are at the heart of our programme and we will work closely with local businesses to ensure you have up-to-date knowledge and a solid network of professional contacts upon graduation. You will be a part of a community of learners, and academics who all aspire to impact business and help support the vibrant operating environment of Plymouth.
