Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy MSc

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) plays a critical role in contemporary health and social care. Delivered by a highly qualified team of psychotherapy and counselling professionals, this course provides valuable insights into the creative and collaborative use of CBT with clients. You will learn to assess, formulate, provide interventions, and evaluate your practice across a range of conditions, from anxiety and depression to personality disorders and schizophrenia, including other complex needs.<br/><br/>**Please note: This programme is not available to applicants who require a Student Visa due to its structure.**<br/><br/>You will:<br/>- Explore new developments in CBT, including mindfulness and compassion-focused therapy.<br/><br/><br/>- Focus on interventions for a wide spectrum of conditions, from anxiety and depression to more complex mental health issues.<br/><br/><br/>Course structure:<br/>- MSc: one year full-time; two years part-time.<br/><br/><br/>- PgDip: one year full-time; two years part-time.<br/><br/><br/>The course involves a mix of half-day and full-day sessions, with optional modules on the part-time route delivered in block sessions. Depending on your experience and interests, you can choose from a variety of modules and have the opportunity to exit with different awards.
