Students will be introduced to the relevance and practical application of knowledge and counselling skills through practical learning, placement and research opportunities.

Counselling is often perceived as an expensive profession to enter due to the additional costs incurred by students during training and these can often act as a barrier for students pursuing training and careers in the field. As an institution Bishop Grosseteste University has a long history of enabling and supporting students from diverse backgrounds in starting on their future career paths and therefore students who are accepted on the BA (Hons) Counselling programme will have the additional costs of 40 hours of personal therapy and any supervision costs paid for them by University.

To find out more about this course, visit https://www.bgu.ac.uk/courses/counselling-practitioner
