It aspires to create the very safest of graduates for the health and social care professions and will achieve this through a range of learning and teaching opportunities including simulation-based education. Completion of this course will give you an academic qualification and will lead to eligibility to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a mental health nurse. The course is perfect for those who have a passion to make a difference and an eagerness to develop excellent communication skills. <br/>You will have a range of placement opportunities are within specialist mental health settings, and you will work in our local NHS Trusts to gain a variety of experience within your chosen speciality.<br/>As part of the programme, you will experience innovative and creative learning, including the AZ2B theatre company’s dramatisations. <br/><br/>You will also undertake courses in:<br/><br/><br/>- Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction <br/><br/><br/>- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy<br/><br/><br/>- Behaviour Family Therapy<br/>
