It has a strong track record of successful graduates who are working across the breadth of the textiles industry, including in fashion, art and interiors<br/><br/>You can explore printed, woven or knitted textiles and specialise in the area that most suits you. We encourage students to experiment with materials, reconsidering what textile design and production means in a world where issues of sustainability and ethical manufacture are high on the agenda.<br/><br/>Expert lecturers and technicians will help you develop your skills in drawing and in concept and design development, using both traditional craft and digital techniques. A practical approach to business studies is integrated into every aspect of the course.<br/><br/>Your third year is an optional industry placement. This year provides you with invaluable contacts and often graduate job opportunities.<br/><br/>Throughout the degree you’ll have inspiring talks from industry professionals and work on live projects for brands.
