Your transformation from student to future business professional will begin from day one.<br/>Here at Chester you can either undertake the BA Business Management course or choose to study one of four pathways: Business Management (Entrepreneurship), Business Management (Human Resources), Business Management (Marketing) or Business Management (Finance).<br/>We will equip you with much more than business knowledge. Your future employers are seeking skills that we develop with you, meaning that you leave us with experiences that should give you an edge at interview and in the workplace.<br/>Most of what you study will be anchored to today’s business world, but we will support you to challenge assumptions and make relevant management. You will be looking at small local businesses right through to the leading brands, as well as upcoming trends in key marketing areas, such as customer behaviour and digital communications.<br/>Gain an understanding of marketing in a real-life context along with essential digital marketing skills, and develop management awareness in areas such as finance, people and organisations. Use this marketing knowledge to make key decisions and consider the different ways businesses operate around the world. You will begin to shape your career path by choosing an aspect of marketing, along with the option to undertake a five-week or year-long placement, and carrying out an original research project into a subject you select.<br/><br/>The Placement Year is an opportunity to work in industry or practice so that you can put everything learnt so far into practice and gain hands-on experience.
