Our students have several additional opportunities, such as achieving a Level 3 qualification in Paediatric First Aid, a requirement for staff in all Early Years settings, and the Graduate Practitioner Competencies, which will give your CV an edge, whatever career path you choose.

The Early Childhood and Primary Education degree will build on current practice and research within the sector catering for the 0-11 age range, providing students with current in-depth knowledge and understanding. Embedded at the heart of the course is the emphasis on employability skills, ensuring students are equipped to enter a diverse range of careers, both directly from the course as graduate professionals and with further study at postgraduate level.

This highly practical course has placement opportunities in each year of study, giving you a range of hands-on experience.

Foundation Year courses have been designed for students who do not have the necessary academic qualifications needed to enter directly into the first year of a degree but who have the ability and commitment to do so.
