You will evaluate perspectives on psychology and crime in lectures, workshops and small group seminars and complete practical experiments to increase your understanding. The course meets the accreditation criteria of the British Psychological Society (BPS) so you will be eligible for a Graduate Basis Chartered Membership of the BPS once you complete your studies.<br/><br/>This full-time three year programme provides a unique opportunity to develop an understanding of criminological and forensic psychology, mental health, human rights and diversity, legal frameworks and crime. The programme is designed to develop understanding of biological, cognitive, developmental, individual difference and social psychological principles, theories and empirical findings that underlie everyday experience. You will then develop your knowledge of a wide range of criminal, delinquent and deviant behaviour through an in-depth understanding of criminology and forensic psychology, culminating in the opportunity to conduct an independent dissertation project in an area of your choice.
