This accredited degree can lead to State Registration as professional Biomedical Scientist, by the Health and Care Professions Council. <br/><br/>**Skills:** <br/><br/>You will develop your knowledge about the human body in health and disease. The essential functions of life are explored by studying cell biology and molecular biology. You will also develop practical skills in: <br/><br/><br/>- Understanding areas such as pharmacology <br/><br/><br/>- The branch of medicine concerned with the use and effect of drugs <br/><br/><br/>- Immunology – learning about all aspects of the immune system. <br/><br/><br/>- Developing the relationship between nutrition and health. <br/><br/><br/>Additionally, youll take part in practical assessments involving research and data collection.
