Enhanced Profile: Content, Video & Imagery
This guide explains how to prepare your Enhanced Profile, including written content, tracking links, gallery images and an optional video.
Your Enhanced Profile helps students explore your university and take their next step. We write your profile content for you, saving your team time. You simply review it, approve it and supply the links and assets below.
Reviewing your profile content
We prepare the following sections for your approval:
University overview: An introduction to your university and what makes it distinctive.
Key information: Careers, courses, accommodation and city life.
Campus life: Facilities, clubs and societies, and your Students’ Union.
Tuition fees, scholarships and bursaries: The financial options available to students.
Please check that the information is accurate and reflects the experience you want students to discover. If anything needs changing, share your feedback with your Client Success representative.
Content requirements: each section must be written in the third person and contain no more than 1,000 characters. Profile copy cannot include bullet-point lists, links or contact numbers. We welcome supporting references, but cannot accept direct competitor references.
Supplying your tracking links
Please provide six tracking links and one student enquiries email address. A tracking link is a destination URL with UTM parameters added, so you can identify traffic from the campaign.
Visit website: The page where you want to direct most of your profile traffic.
Campus life: A page covering the student experience on campus.
Fees, scholarships and bursaries: Relevant financial information page.
Accommodation: General accommodation landing page, rather than an individual property page.
Prospectus: Direct link to your prospectus order form.
Events: General page listing your events, rather than a single event page.
Student enquiries email: An active admissions or enquiries address, monitored by someone who can respond to student questions.
Choose pages relevant to the students your profile is aimed at, whether undergraduate or postgraduate.
Updating your gallery images
Your gallery helps students picture themselves at your university. Choose a mix of campus, facilities and student-life photography that feels representative of your institution.
Supply one cover photo and 12 gallery images.
Size every image at1920 × 1080 pixels.
Use JPG or PNG files.
Do not include text on the images.
Keep the main subject centred and outside the200-pixel edge area.
Supply clear, high-quality images without pixelation.
Images adapt to different screen sizes, so the edges may be cropped. A centred focal point helps keep the important part of your photograph visible across devices.
Already have a gallery? Updating your existing imagery is optional, but we recommend refreshing it when you have newer photography that better represents your campus and student experience.
Adding a profile video
A video is optional and gives students another way to explore your university. If you would like to include one, please supply a single video that meets these requirements:
Length: No longer than 30 seconds.
File size: Smaller than 20MB.
Format: MP4 using H.264 encoding.
Dimensions: 1920 × 1080 pixels, with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Safe area: Keep important text and logos within a centred 1500 × 800-pixel area.
Watermarks: Do not include them.
A thumbnail appears until a student plays the video. We automatically select one from the video, or you can supply a specific image if you have a preferred thumbnail.
Before your profile goes live
Check your content, test your destination links and make sure your enquiries inbox is monitored. Keeping these details accurate helps students move smoothly from researching your university to getting in touch.
