Molecular biology is the study of biological systems at the molecular level and draws on knowledge from across biological sciences. Since the discovery of the structure of DNA and the advancement of whole genome sequences, molecular biologists are able to offer solutions to the most serious problems we face in modern medicine, agriculture, and industry.
