Human Nutrition and Dietetics (with Foundation Year) BSc (Hons)

This is a four-year programme that includes a year of foundational study and leads directly into the degree course. Our foundation year offers the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence, before you advance to stage one of your honours degree.<br/><br/>Professionally approved by the Health and Care Professions Council and British Dietetic Association, the BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree at Cardiff Met contains two major elements: The academic component based on campus and clinical training, which occurs in three separate places within the course.<br/><br/>Both elements are essential for the achievement of the course objectives and award of the degree with eligibility to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for registration as a dietitian.<br/><br/>Due to this programme being NHS funded and therefore limited places being available which may fluctuate each year, unfortunately deferred applications cannot be considered.<br/><br/>Cardiff Met provides a Foundation Year route for applicants who do not meet the entry requirements for Year 1 entry.
