This is our traditional Business Management degree with a Placement option.
Upon successful completion of this degree, students should have acquired and enhanced their knowledge and
understanding of a wide range of management issues, including harnessing technology effectively, leading and managing people, leading change, managing creativity and innovation, markets and resources, managing in the global business environment, strategic management, and working in teams.

Access to HE Diploma

Successful completion of the Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 60 credits is required, including 45 credits at Level 3 and 15 at Level 2.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Successful completion of IB with a total of 33 points including 6, 6, 5 in Higher Level subjects. GCSE Mathematics minimum grade B or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Successful completion of BTEC National Extended Diploma (1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) at Level 3) with overall grades D*DD. GCSE Mathematics minimum grade B.

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

If Maths not taken at the Higher Level - Ordinary grade O4 required.

Pearson BTEC Extended Diploma (QCF)

Successful completion of BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (180 credits) with overall grades D*DD. GCSE Mathematics minimum grade B.

A level

GCSE Mathematics minimum grade B. A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.
