Studying our transformative oncology degree will give you the opportunity to explore leading research that will make a significant impact on the future of healthcare – developing your understanding of the clinical implications of cancer treatments and patient experiences. <br/><br/>This MSc Transformative Oncology is delivered via distance learning – allowing you to study part-time alongside your current role and integrate your learning directly into your practice. You’ll be able to contribute to a change in cancer research from day one by applying your newfound knowledge to your institution. <br/><br/>Our MSc in oncology covers the principles and real-world clinical applications of established and innovative treatments but also focuses on how multi-disciplinary team approaches, including patient engagement, can be used to effectively deliver personalised care. <br/>Throughout this course, you will: <br/><br/><br/>• Develop a solid understanding of tumour biology and why that is important to understand specific tumour composition and inform treatment strategies.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Explore the role of cancer genomics and why the ability to understand genetic diversity is an important breakthrough in the cancer field.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Build critical insight into the physical principles underpinning radiotherapy, medical imaging for radiotherapy, treatment planning and future developments of radiotherapy. <br/><br/>
