This allows students to acquire knowledge and develop skills in areas such as: childhoods globally, current issues that relate to practice, multi-agency working, pedagogic practices, crime and research. <br/><br/>Possible employment as: <br/><br/>Teaching Assistant <br/>Pastoral Support <br/>Support Worker <br/>Early Help Worker <br/>Family Support Worker <br/>Learning mentor <br/>Youth worker <br/><br/>Postgraduate qualifications to gain possible employment as <br/><br/>Further Education Lecturer <br/>Primary School Teacher <br/>Early Years Teacher <br/>Family Support Worker <br/>Social Worker <br/>Play Therapist <br/><br/>You will attain the equivalent of 120 credits, which with accumulation of 240 credits from a qualifying prior qualification, will enable you to complete the 360 credits requires for the BA (Hons) Childhood Studies. <br/><br/>1 year full-time ,12 hours.<br/><br/>Most students choose this option to enhance their career opportunities further. <br/>Previous graduates have progressed to careers in management, SENDCo roles, pastoral work in educational settings, social care and community work, family outreach services and youth justice work.
