You’ll start by completing a foundation year, which provides well-structured support. Following successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress with confidence to the first year of the Psychology degree.<br/>Psychology is the science of the mind, behaviour, experiences and relationships. The importance of psychological expertise is recognised across all walks of life and aspects of human functioning. A core focus of this course is on developing graduates who have the ability to interpret and apply a broad range of relevant theory and scientific evidence to understand the complex interactions that take place in the mind and between people. Students will explore a diverse range of psychological disciplines including cognitive, behavioural and ecological approaches; and also gain experience in emerging areas including cyberpsychology and cognitive neuroscience.
