On arriving at Ravensbourne for the first time, students take part in Welcome Week, consisting of various exciting events such as International Night, an International Student Reception as well as other cultural and social events. Delivered by the Ravensbourne Students’ Union and the University, these events ensure students feel welcomed and at home in a new city and a new environment. This is all a part of introducing them to the Ravensbourne family.

Ravensbourne ensures that their students feel fully supported and a part of a community throughout their entire time studying with them and so provides many opportunities to enrich student life. Students have the chance to form or join a range of societies, where they can meet new people, make friends and collaborate. The university also provides students with the opportunity to undertake flexible paid work as Student Ambassadors which helps to improve their skills and expand their networks alongside their studies.
