Football Coaching and Management FdA

The Football Coaching and Management* Foundation Degree is a two year full time course which will enhance your ability to apply the theoretical concepts of coaching and management in the world of football.<br/><br/>The course runs in partnership with Exeter City Football Club, utilising their extensive knowledge of Football Coaching and Management from their community enhancement to their elite performance programme.<br/><br/>This exciting course offers a broad range of modules including Community Football Coaching, Talent Identification, Introducing Analysis in Coaching and Player Development. All the modules have been specifically designed to help amplify employability opportunities post completion of the course.<br/>The course includes a work placement module to provide learners with the opportunity to practically apply their extensive knowledge base gained throughout the course. <br/><br/>In addition to the course, opportunities will be provided to help maximise the learners ability to apply their skills developed in the world of football coaching. <br/>Football Coaching and Managment provides a platform for a variety of careers in rapidly expanding industries. The course encompasses learners gaining valuable experiences and work placements within the football coaching environment which can lead directly in to full time employment.<br/><br/>Additional Inclusive Qualifications:<br/>In conjunction with the programme, further relative qualifications are available, including An Introduction to Football Coaching, FA Level 2 and Futsal Level 1 coaching courses.<br/><br/>This Programme is also mapped to the occupational standard for Sports Coach - Community Coach so you will develop the skills required by employers.<br/><br/>Other opportunities include progressing on to the third year of the BA (Hons) Football Coaching and Development, BSc (Hons) Coach and Physical Education or the BA (Hons) Sports Development and Coaching degrees at the Plymouth Marjon University.<br/><br/><br/>* subject to validation.<br/>
