We are one of the very few universities in London that offer on-campus accommodation. The Student Village is based at our Docklands campus, with Cyprus DLR station at it’s entrance- making it simple and easy to commute to central London as well as Stratford. We also provide a shuttle bus service to our other campuses, making travel as easy and convenient as ever.

The University of East London offers you many opportunities to widen your experience by learning on real-life projects in London and overseas. UEL aims to become London’s leading university for civic engagement – helping students to become active citizens by working on community projects as part of their studies or through volunteering. Our Professional Mentoring Scheme matches students and professional staff from industries and organisations. It’s a fantastic way to find out about the world of work and to receive advice and guidance from a successful professional. So far, around 1,200 of our students have benefited from the scheme.

All UK universities charge tuition fees, though most UK and EU students are eligible for a tuition fee loan from the UK government so they are able to ‘study now and pay later’. If you are eligible for a tuition fee loan you won’t have to pay any fees up front and you won’t start paying the fees back until you’re earning a reasonable income - currently set at over £25,000. The tuition fees for full time courses are £9,250 per year, with part time fees costing £2,310 per 30 credit module.
