Equipped with the latest emerging technologies youll gain industry-standard skills and collaborate with a vibrant community of creatives, supported by a staff team that encompasses international research and embedded industry professionals within the wider creative media, arts and digital tech industries. <br/><br/><strong>Features & Benefits</strong><br/>• Located in Manchester, this course positions filmmakers within one of the UKs key centres for screen industries. The city is home to a vibrant digital production landscape, featuring everything from innovative start-ups to established companies like the BBC and ITV, all situated in nearby Salford’s Media City.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• You will hone your practical and critical skills while gaining invaluable experience through live industry connections with some of the city’s premiere commercial and cultural institutions. In the past our students have collaborated with HOME, The Whitworth Art Gallery, Factory International and the Imperial War Museum.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Engage in hands-on projects that mirror professional filmmaking environments and help to build your industry networks. <br/><br/><br/><br/>• Learn from internationally recognised, expert staff who are active filmmakers, artists and practitioners.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Utilise SODAs industry standard facilities, including green screens, edit suites and film studios. Youll have support from a team of technicians who can give tutorials on the equipment.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Create projects that address challenging creative briefs across various formats, including narrative film, documentary, artists’ film, and immersive media, with opportunities for screening at esteemed national and international film festivals. <br/><br/>
