Theology (Community and Social Transformation) MA

The Community and Social Transformation pathway offers opportunities for students to engage with emerging theologies of transformational practices – exploring the complex questions that emerge for Christians engaged in community development and relief & humanitarian development. <br/><br/>The MA Theology (Community and Social Transformation) (and linked PGDip and PGCert awards) invites students to explore the interface of theology, faith, cultures and development practices within a community of practice. The pathway centres on critical reflection on praxis, the relationship between lived experience, transformational practices and theological frameworks, as applied to development work, social justice, anti-poverty approaches and community cohesion.
