Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with a Year in Industry BSc (Hons)

From BAFTA-nominated game developers to world-leading cyber security experts and researchers collaborating with Airbus, Microsoft, HSBC, and Siemens - your lecturers excel in theory and make a difference in practice. You’ll learn in state-of-the-art labs, collaborate with your peers, and showcase your work at the Computer Science colloquium and to employers at our annual Project Fair.

Whether youre interested in building cloud-based systems, designing accessible apps, exploring Internet of Things (IoT) technologies or developing technologies that haven’t even been invented yet, you’ll graduate with a portfolio that demonstrates your skills - and gives you the confidence to use them in a real world setting.

This course also offers you the opportunity to spend a Year in Industry, in the UK or overseas, enabling you to gain valuable workplace experience. The University advocates for paid-only placements, which on average have a salary of over £20,000. Unpaid placements are considered on a case-by-case basis.
