Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with a Year Abroad BSc (Hons)

The Department of Computer Science, which is home to an EPSRC Doctoral Training Centre on Human-centred AI, is addressing a clear and challenging need to put people at the heart of AI research and innovation for data-driven and intelligent technologies. Our world-leading research and passion to develop students into outstanding AI professionals are empowering us to launch a new degree programme - “Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence”.<br/><br/>The programme covers the fundamentals of Computer Science (CS) and puts specific focus on advanced AI and related applications. The first year will provide students with the foundation of computer science, including programming, maths and logic, and a dedicated data science module in preparation for human-centred AI.<br/><br/>As part of this programme, you will spend a year abroad between your second and final year, broadening your skills and experience.
