Creative Writing (Extended) MA

Our MA Creative Writing (Extended) degree offers both the benefits of our 1-year MA, where you will be trained in writing of literary and media text, with a period of study abroad at our partner US institution to further your writing skills and experience. <br/><br/>During your 2-years of study you will have teaching in a wide range of genres, including fiction, poetry, sci-fi, screenwriting and creative non-fiction, spending your time at Swansea forging personal links with the National Theatre Wales, the International Dyland Thomas Prize, The Cultural Institute and independent publishers and literary agents, and furthering your skills, experience and employability during your semester abroad at the University of Central Oklahoma.
