Event industry specialists have developed the course and teach it, and you’ll work directly with directly with venues, artists and audiences and other industry partners, as you develop your skills. <br/><br/>Employability is woven through the course and is evidenced in the overall philosophical course aims, in the approach to teaching and learning, as well as being underpinned by co-curriculum activities, where students will gain transferable skills which add value to future employment and enterprising ventures.<br/><br/>Professional placements form part of your core teaching, equipping you to be adaptable, resilient, globally minded, confident, entrepreneurial, and digitally savvy.<br/><br/>This course includes a Professional Practice Year, where you’ll spend two years studying your degree, before putting what you’ve learned into practice as part of a year-long work placement. Youll then return for your final year of study, where youll be able to apply what youve learned.

We consider the strength of our applicants’ application, and if applicable their experience, as well as their grades and we therefore may make offers which are lower than our standard entry criteria of 112 tariff points. This may be to students who have faced difficulties that have affected their performance and who were expected to achieve higher results. We regularly admit students with a tariff much higher than our standard 112 requirement, and applicants who show potential but aren’t quite at the stage to be able to succeed on the course are offered a 4 year degree with an integrated foundation year which has a standard entry requirement of 32 tariff points.
