The programme mirrors the industry standards of British Weight Lifting and the UK Strength and Conditioning Association.<br/><br/>Our course is a dedicated distance learning postgraduate degree, which focuses on you as the practitioner. It’s underpinned by science, which ensures a balance between academic theory and field-based coaching skills.<br/><br/>All course material is delivered by experts in the field using innovative and interactive online methods whereby coaching science and approaches are shared, debated, and critiqued, all linked to relevant assessments to enhance your coaching expertise<br/><br/><strong>Why study with us</strong><br/><br/><br/>• We work alongside British Weightlifting, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the UK Strength and Conditioning Association.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• We partner with the Football Medicine and Performance Association (FMPA), which means youll have a direct link to the football industry.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• The course is delivered by industry experts with many years practitioner experience at national and international level. <br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>What youll do</strong> <br/><br/><br/>• Question, critique and develop your knowledge, competency and ability to coach in all areas of strength development and conditioning.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• The course will allow you to dispel incorrect training approaches and instead develop a sound approach to the content of your coaching and behaviour as a coach.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• The course is progressive in nature, so that you will be well equipped to perform at a high level in a range of sports spanning power-based, team-based, combat and endurance sports.<br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>Future Careers</strong><br/><br/>Our Strength and Conditioning graduates work as self-employed coaches in a large variety of team sports, combat sports, strength-based sports, and endurance sports. Many also work within clubs, teams, and organisations. They deliver Strength and Conditioning support to a large range of audiences such as school PE lessons, recreational, semi-professional and professional athletes, and special population groups. <br/><br/>A large number of our graduates have secured careers, promotions or new business opportunities as a result of taking the MSc in Strength and Conditioning.
